Alpha-amylase
Sizing is a process during textile manufacturing for the weaving process. Sizing helps fabrics to withstand weaving tension and reduce breakage. After weaving, the textile must go through desizing process to remove the starch coating and get ready for bleaching or dyeing.
XKbio AA is available for use in a wide pH and temperature range for all types of starch’s desizing processes.
Cellulase
Customers hope their textiles can retain vibrant colors and good quality even after numerous times of wash. Such quality textiles can be obtained through bio-polishing process. In biopolishing, enzymes remove protruding fibers from cotton or other fabrics, delivering a smooth surface without fuzz and pills.
XKbio AC, XKbio NC are respectively Acid Cellulase and Neutral Cellulase, specially designed for biopolishing process. They boast excellent color retention and minimum damage to fabrics.
XKbio AC, XKbio NC can improve the performance of lower quality cotton fabrics to deliver smoother surface, softer touch feeling and improved fabric drape.
Catalase
Consistent dyeing is vital for textile manufacturing. Fabric bleaching in pretreatment process involves the use of hydrogen peroxide. If not entirely removed, the residual hydrogen peroxide will cause uneven colors in dyeing. Catalase is an enzymatic solution to this problem which specifically removes hydrogen peroxide on the textile. This process is called bleach clean-up.
XKbio CT is Catalase developed for peroxide removal even under the harshest processing conditions. XKbio CT provides reliable and complete peroxide removal effects, ensuring a more consistent dyeing result.
